Snowpack

At ~8600' in consistent shade, ~7cm cm melt-freeze crust (supportable in boots) w moist RG below. On sunny slopes at same elevation, moist & unsupportable, coarse, MF grains to ground. Continuous snow level ~ 8400' on northerly slopes & 9000' plus on sunny slopes. continuous snow cover on Log Mesa, though looked thin < ~8700. Other nearby mesas looked similar. Road dusty.
