Snowpack

Despite the warm temperatures, the snowpack on southerly aspects below treeline in this area was only wet in the upper 10 cm today. Ski penetrations generally only 5-10 cm while skinning up and skiing. North aspects, even as low as 8700 ft, had an entirely dry snowpack today with minimal effects from recent warm temperatures.
