Snowpack

Sun crust on top of sugar. The thickness of the sun crust varying from very-thin to thick by slight aspect differences in ridges. The only real cracking seen was from small (1 foot diameter?) chunks of sun crust breaking. There were no whoomphing collapses experienced here at this time, just unconsolidated spots. Our group did experience one moderate settling during our up-track near this area hours earlier.
