Weather
A few scattered clouds in areas with high clouds to the west. No wind and no snow transport off any of the high ridges of the range.
Snowpack
Photos attached are from HWY 17 driving south. It hasn't snowed much since I was down here last on January 5th. SNOTEL sites are showing an increase of ~.5" of SWE since then. South Colony SNOTEL is showing a 40" snow depth and precip. accumulation is at average. From a distance it looks fairly thin except for gully features that were previously loaded by the wind. I would think most of the snowpack at all elevations is faceted even the old wind drifts. A large storm would increase danger quickly with a thin, faceted snowpack.
