Snowpack
About 3 feet of very sugary hoar on top of rocks/scree with a 6 inch crust on top 10,200' , Northeast facing, Northern side of Kendall Mountain outside of Silverton. The lower elevation at this aspect has not consolidated into a safe snowpack. Stay up high near Red Mountain Pass.
Avalanche
2 point releases where the depth hoare collapsed. 1st release: 10 feet long and stopped; 2nd release: ~400 feet long, gained momentum Plenty of naturally triggered releases higher in same drainage
