Snowpack

N to NE aspects Soft Slabs 1.2 - 1.5m thick above faceted base No cracking, collapsing or whumphing

Avalanche

Old natural avalanches (5 - 6 days old?) on NE to E aspects with start zones above treeline. D2+ in size. Old debris covered in 10 - 15 cm new snow. 2 - 3 m cornices still present above both released and unreleased/loaded slopes from N to E aspects. Some cross-loaded sub-ridges adjacent to natural slide paths.
