Snowpack
15cm of windslab formed over weekend on top of storm snow. Snow in trees is still storm snow on top of depth hoar. ECT test: ECTPV at 15cm below surface at interface between windslab (P-hard) and previous storm snow (1F, still could see dendrites in snow under windslab). Fracture didn't happen until larger part of saw went through slab - not sure if that counts as a "V" score. Continued test for an ECTP17 at interface between old snow layer and depth hoar. Old snow layer = pencil-hard at 60cm to 75cm from ground.
