Snowpack

Extremely touchy snowpack on NE aspects. 4-5" of storm snow on top of about 24" of consolidated soft slab on top of very unsupportive facets. On E and SE aspects, snow felt stronger and more supportive. There was a distinct sun crust about 5" below the recent storm snow on these aspects. We observed significant windloading on the N and NE slopes above treeline.
