5-10" of low density new snow, depending on elevation and aspect. Old snow surface of consolidated powder and wind/sun crusts. With probe, could easily feel the the stronger layers of snow (25-40") overlaying the air-like facet/ hoar layers beneath (30"). No noticeable cracking or collapsing however.
