There was a pretty widespread avalanche cycle associated with this week's strong and steady NW winds. Many large naturals ran near and above treeline on most aspects over the past 24-48 hours, though a few quite notable slides ran when the winds began early in the week. Alpine areas have been ravaged- lots of hard slab of varying thickness and sastrugi up high. Some areas of hard slab are disguised by a few inches of softer snow on top. Also, I imagine there are a number of slides that ran mid storm that have were quickly reloaded and thus, not quite easiliy spotted...
