Warm bluebird day. Felt very springlike with warm temperature and strong sun.
Snowpack
General warming was felt on all open slopes affected by the sun. New snow from this past week was wet on open south facing slopes below treeline. Shady slopes remain dry. Loose Wet avalanche activity was observed off steep rocky features on southerly and west facing slopes in afternoon. In a pit on a NE facing slope Near-treeline: HS 190. Dry snow. Reactive layer of Near-Surface facets below new snow. ECTP 21 50 CM's from surface.
