Weather

Very light intermittent snow showers, calm winds, and sky cover which varied between mostly sunny and overcast. A variety of high and low level fast-moving clouds rolled through the valley during the day.

Snowpack

BTL the upper snowpack has settled significantly, despite cool temps last week. Upper layers last weekend were F hard DFs and FC, but now is 1F hard. Tests followed this pattern with no results on ECT last weekend, but now ECTN3 x 3 on the SH layer about 25 down. Fractures would fracture on a clean plane but were stopping at about 60 cms and fracturing the slab above. NTL elevations were relatively unchanged, with wind slabs and crusts under a couple inches of fresh snow.
