Dug a pit at the bottom of the bowl before going up. Snow had some hoar frost in sheltered areas, was wind affected and no hoar in the more exposed areas. -Top 20cm soft powder -20-50cm consolidated storm slab that has faceted somewhat, 4 finger plus -50 cm down is ice crust ~5 cm thick, seemed to be bridging to the basal facets and holding nicely
