Weather
Windy down low in the trees, more intense up high. Plumes coming off peaks, snow being moved across open areas up high. 1" thick wind crust well off ridge down into trees, as well as out in open areas on ski out.
Snowpack
East Aspect at 9,300' H.S. 65 cm 3cm thick grapple layer from 2-3-21 at the beginning of last weeks storm cycle. A sun crust just below this as well. Bottom 20 cm is depth hoar.
Avalanche
Carbonate slide path, went late 2-7-21 or early 2-8-21. Stopped short of the quarry road by 600'.
