Weather

High of 25 degrees and sunny for late morning, dropped significantly around 2pm with increasing clouds and calm to moderate winds.

Snowpack

About 2" of new snow at 8,500'. Weak snowpack in the trees still, some slabs formed on west facing tree areas where we got some minor cracking and collapsing. Open areas are a mix of thin/weak to 6"+ and very strong wind deposits on top. Leeward areas had up to 6" of snow blown in and skied fairly well.
