Weather
Moderate N winds through the day. Snow was being transported onto southerly aspects. Winds backed down in the afternoon. South aspects seemed to stay dry(no crust yet).
Snowpack
Storm snow seemed to be about 6”. North winds transported into 1’ or more areas, with very soft slabs. Reports of two collapses on southerly aspects while breaking trail. No shooting cracks. Skied SE slopes up to 35 degrees. The new snow is not very slabby where we were, but ATL, the wind seemed like it formed some slabs.
Avalanche
On the drive home, we noticed a Size 2 on a SW aspect ATL. Not exactly sure if location, but just north of Red 3.
