Weather
It snowed off and on with a mostly overcast sky. The sun appeared briefly in the afternoon, winds were light out of the west.
Snowpack
On many north and east facing aspects right side up, 50 cm 4F to 1F slab of storm snow sits over a crust sandwiched by two facet layers. This weak layer was reactive while touring near treeline, with numerous rumbling collapses heard while touring.
Avalanche
Several rumbling collapses as I toured below treeline. As I approached the electrical site I saw debris in the gully lookers right of the powerlines. Two tracks got about 10 feet from the rollover and remotely triggered an avalanche. The crown had a maximum height of 2 feet.
