NE aspects: surface layer is consolidated and dense. Ski pen 5-10cm in the AM. Jumped on a nearly isolated convex microfeature at 2150m, 50deg . No reaction. Call it a poor man's RB7. Lots of wet sluff when riding this aspect, running far and fast on the even denser base. SE/S aspects: solar affected. The suncrust was almost 5cm. Ski pen 20+ cm in the PM. Total shite.

#1 Sz 1.5 in the bowl to the north of Apollo bowl, the one west of Hector main summit. Probably 24-48 hrs old. S aspect. 2600m. Angle unknown. Looked like wet sluff triggered by the failure of a small cornice/wind lip. #2 Sz 1.5. E aspect. 2600m. ~45 deg. Direct observation. Wet sluff triggered by cornice failure.
