Cool, calm (not quite still), sunny.

Snowpack

Shallow and weak. Generally 20-30cm of small grained facets closer to ridge crest. Even "loaded" areas had no slab development only isolated wind texture and wind boards several cm thick. In the trees the snow cover was 30-40cm and faceted throughout. Much more faceted and weaker than Independence Pass area.
