Centre Peak AST

Had a great day OB at Castle Mountain Resort. Using the weather forecast, avalanche forecast, and the Avaluator card, for our trip plan, we decided to stick to BTL and mellow terrain for our field day. We had a dig in the snow and saw some melt freeze crusts down 36cm and 46cm. We did some testing and saw a "break" failure at ground in the facets. Also had a great time to practicing with all our equipment (shovel, beacon, and probe). Nice day had by all.
