Cold, but not much wind, bluebird.

Avalanche

I am submitting a photo of the avalanche on SE Mt Helen, which was reported a couple days earlier. This photo gives a good perspective of it’s size. This path has avalanched many times over the years, but this seems bigger than usual. Lots of wind loading from above, and it is deceptively steep there - over 30 degrees.
