Partly sunny with light snow Watrous Gulch, East aspect, at and above tree line
Snowpack
2 layers above a deep layer of facets. However, in a hand sheer test at tree line, East aspect, the block broke while cutting the top of the bloc at the faceted layer
Avalanche
Just above tree line on the East aspect of Watrous Gulch it appears the knoll experienced two natural slab avalanches. The higher fainter crown on the right seems separate from the more prominent crown on the left because they are separated by a large rock field
