Pleasantly surprised at conditions of the day. Was thinking there would be dust on crust. It was better than that. Temps just below 0 c. Wind moderate from varying directions S, E and N ith at times. Snowing almost all day. Maybe 1 cm an hour at times. at treelike. 10-15 of recent storm snow. No visible evidence of naturals. Soft slab forming at ridge line in lee features. No slabs cut by boards. Sluffs run fast at times in steeper sections. Crust under new snow was supportive to board edges most of the time. Best to smoow the edges and not edge hard. Even got a bit of snow up on my chest at times. Minor cracking around boards while skinning by days end.
