Climbed up towards ridge that leads to col Nak/Thar. This ridge is between Nak Thar. We didn’t head to col due to fog and nervousness about denser snow from the wind the day before that might make fresh snow slab/like. Amazing light powder snow. Saw no consolidation of fresh snow sitting on top of the older layer from a few days previous. We were floored waking this morning reading the avalanche events. We have skied this area for 10 years. Were they skiing in areas where wind affected the snow like south side of Nak??Met at least 13 others skiing our lines. We broke the trail in very early yesterday. We agree break Duffy and Coq into two regions. This has shaken my assessment skills.
