Quick lap up Farrell Peak. Started skinning around 1500m (only enough snow to skin on road). Snow levels improved incrementally to perhaps 50-70 HS at 2100m. A band of dramatic, very large hoar crystals evident around 1800m could pose hazard in the surrounding area once buried.
