Breezy in Taylor Park. Much less drifting snow in this part of the Gunnison zone today.
Snowpack
Not enough snow in the central and southern parts of the Gunnison zone for efficient on-snow travel. Generally 3 to 5 inches of snow in the valley bottoms. I could see ground roughness in nearly all of the east-facing start zones in this area. I saw minor drifting in isolated features, but no areas large enough to produce a D2 avalanche.
