30F at 7:20AM at the Marble Peak TH. S-1 to S1 throughout the day. Light to moderate winds before 11AM getting noticeably stronger afterwards.
Snowpack
8-10" new snow at the TH and 12-14" new snow above the treeline. Very touchy snowpack conditions. "Wide spread and highly reactive shooting cracks. Rumbling collapses with every step forward."
Avalanche
Natural D1 avalanche BTL in a south facing gully with a 12" crown. D2 slab triggered intentionally in a north facing gully. Remotely triggered D2 avalanche spanning all of Marble Bowl with a 1 to 2 foot crown at least 700 feet wide running about 550 vertical feet before stopping above the "lunch spot"
