At approximately 2 pm, observed clear-few clouds in sky, air temperatures in mid-high 20’s, winds calm with light gusts.

Snowpack

Ski penetration on sw-s-se aspects approximately 10cm with heavy wet snow on top of firm sun crust, (on all northern aspects, PS 20-30cm, pf likely 50+)

Avalanche

Sometime between approximately 11:30 and 2pm, observed 3 small slides on SE bowl off ptarmigan hill at vail pass, likely WL-N-R1-D1-S
