partly cloudy skies. light winds from W/NW. temps mid 20s warming to 30s by end of tour. 5cm of new snow from overnight storm.

Snowpack

HS 165cm. dug pit on 35° N aspect @ 9250' BTL. site was in protected glade. 3 CTs as follows: CTH (21) BRK/Q3 @ 40cm down CTH (21) BRK/Q3 @ 40cm down CTH (22) BRK/Q3 @ 40cm down all 3 failures were on interface between melt-freeze crust and sugary, fist-hardness layer below
