Mostly clear skies with very light wind and > freezing temperatures.
Snowpack
The snowpack where I traveled was ~ 1.5 m deep. In areas exposed to the sun, there was a 1-2 cm CR layer on the snow surface that turned into wet snow in the afternoon. On shadowy slopes, the snow surface was DF that turned denser, but still dry in the afternoon. blow the upper 10-15 cm from the snow surface that snowpack consisted of mostly FC crystals. I did not see a mid-layer slab where I traveled.
