Riding Quality
ok

Snowmobiling at Quartz Creek, Group of 3 traversing the rdige top to ride ridge top meadows. While traversing ridge top, had to navigate closer to cornice edge than wanted, remote triggered entire slope from about 3M away. We knew this slope would be touchy hence why we were traversing above it and not up it. Recent slab avavalnches had let go during the previous storm on adjacent slopes. Snowmobile tracks on bed surface. Avalanche had a crown height of 80cm to 140cm, propagated 200m wide and ran the entire slope ~100M long into a gully feature/terrain trap. 4M+ debris pile in gully. Was not expecting propagation this wide. Three involved layers were 1F- to 1F+, the bottom layer being the stiffest.
