Explored around boom lake today, digging just above treeline on the east side of the lake. HS~160cm, up to waste standing on both feet. Shady N aspect. ~25cm F-4f overlying ~20cm 1f slab, underlain by F facets to ground, slightly denser in the 20cm overlying the ground. ECT M7, RP down 55cm at the base of the denser slab, CT M3, SP down 100 on a density change in the lower facets. Definitely not confidence inspiring. While we didn't dig elsewhere, probing around, the density profile seemed to be very similar throughout the area.
