Decent powder surface along with wind affected areas. The day stayed cold (-12~) and clear. No cracking, whumphing, or sluff runoff on north facing ridge lines or north-east facing lines off the subpeak. Run out back down to the creek is well covered and easy.

A layer 45cm from the surface sitting atop decomposing surface hoar failed at CT16. Moderate planar, it required a heavy jump with skis on the Rutschblock test to initiate failure.
