The Nov 13th, crust was observed down 135cm at this elevation. We got a CTH (23)(22) SP about 15cms above this crust, the layer that it was failing on was not obvious as we did not have a loop. Above this, was mostly 4F to 1F density snow, generally getting stiffer as it got deeper. We saw no new avalanches but were avoiding alpine slopes as the wind seems to have been blowing the alpine. The skiing was exceptional most of the way down to 1500m but certainly gets a little thinner around 1800m. Nice to have the tree skiing back.
