Dug a hasty pit on a 29 deg ESE aspect, NTL open area ~12000ft. 110cm total dept. Slight melt-freeze or sun crust near the surface covered by <1cm wind deposition. The crust overlaid decomposing ~20cm new snow/wind deposition. ~60cm finger hard slab atop depth hoar to the ground. ETCP24 Q2 failure between the slab and the depth hoar.
