Warm, temps were above freezing the entire tour. No visible snow being transported at ridgelines.

I dug multiple test pits during the ascent, starting at 9000' and the last one was at 11,000. All were on east, northeast facing slopes. Consistent ECTN 10-12 results at the recent storm/old interface. Near treeline, the Christmas and New Years slabs became more apparent, not necessarily in the stiffness of the slabs but by the 1cm layer of buried near surface facet's that is clearly evident at 40 centimeters below the surface. Compression tests produced moderate results in this layer (CTM 14 RP), and continues to be my greatest concern for near and above treeline.
