Spent two days in the area. Crust from earlier in the month was present in all aspects to 1900 m, with variable snow on top. Skied North aspects off of Needle Pk West ridge - wind slabs present in all but the protection of the trees. West aspects in protection of the trees had the best quality snow - fist 15-20 cm on top of bulletproof crust. Flatiron bowl was very wind affected, and again thick wind slab on the North aspects. Stayed away from convexities especially in areas with wind slabs. South aspects had 3-4 cm of breakable crust.
