Weather

Sunny and warm with a consistent breeze. Temps and solar input were enough to make snow surfaces moist.

Snowpack

No surprises, what you see from the road is what you get in person. Snow depths below treeline ranged from 10-20cm and provided just enough coverage to move through the terrain. With the warm temperatures and mostly clear skies, the remaining snow was moist but not overly wet. Higher elevation slopes were severally ravaged by recent wind storms and are only holding snow on leeward slopes and protected features. In either case, the snow is spotty, and slab formation was hard to gauge.
