Snowpack

Low snow. Average height of snow was around one foot. Structure is nearly homogeneous with about 20 cms of recent unconsolidated snow above 7 cms of faceted grains (1-2mm). This structure was present on shady N facing slopes while N facing slopes with more sun exposure had a melt-freeze crust in place of the basal facets. Slopes on the sunnier aspects appeared to have only unconsolidated storm snow and a shallower snow depth.
