Strong winds blowing snow in the drainage and creating large plumes of snow moving around up high on ridge lines with prevailing W winds.

Observed one natural windslab that failed some hours before on a steep E aspect around 12,000 feet along the Current Creek headwall. Windslab failed below a very large cornice. However, it did not break particularly wide, step down into deeper layers, or run far. Estimated R1 D1.5
