Cloudy skies, cold temperatures in the teens and moderate SW winds with light wind transport. 2.5" of new snow with 0.2" of water content. Three day snow total; 19" with 2" of water content.
Snowpack
Found fresh wind slab formation and minor slab release on wind loaded NE aspect near treeline. Found no other signs of instability- cracking or collapsing on NW-N-E aspects near and below treeline.
Avalanche
Recent observed avalanche activity limited to small, shallow slabs and loose snow, not exceeding D1.5 in size. Observed some harmless, fresh wet loose activity on open, sunny aspects below treeline
