Avalanche
HS-ASu-R2-D2.5-I 13000' ENE aspect This was a wind slab with crown depth 40 to 70 cm deep it stepped down into the old snow and that crown was over a meter deep. The avalanche was 50 to 65m wide and ran about 700'. We triggered this avalanche from on top of the rock up and right of the main crown. We were on the slope but it released 20 to 30' away from us. I didn't have a crystal card or loupe but it looked like 3-4mm SH. (I don't know how V would have stayed standing with the pre-storm wind but maybe something to look for next time your out)
