Weather

Warm temperatures and mostly clear skies. Winds were not strong enough to see blowing snow on any ridgline with very good visibility.

Snowpack

This portion of the zone received about 15- 20 centimeters of new snow with the March 1-2 storm. No natural activity was seen. The only signs of instability seen were on steep, sunny slopes near cliff bands where new snow was beginning to turn wet. On a shaded west-northwest facing slope, the total snowpack depth was 220 centimeters. The snowpack here is basically homogenous with rounding facets at the ground. The March 1 interface is barely visible and produced no failures in test results.
