Warm and sunny in the morning. Overcast with slight wind pickup in the pm.
Snowpack
Variable. Sun affected crust at all elevations we toured (11,500’ and below) with soft snow in the trees where there was lots of shade. N and NE aspect appeared to have slightly softer snow, but was easy to kick loose on steeper slopes. Top 40-50cm of storm snow was relatively heavy and easy to kick loose on steeper slopes, but did not appear to be propagating and was not a problem mid to late morning on mellower slopes.
