Quick morning lap on The Office chute off the front side of Mt Proctor. We observed one large whumpfing settlement on the back side, in an open SW facing glade, while skiing up. One of the loudest I have ever experienced and most likely on a preserved surface hoar/facet layer. Further investigation showed no signs of instability. Cornice growth on multiple aspects which were sensitive to human triggering. Multiple Sz1.0 loose dry on E-S aspects. Riding in the chute was dust on crust at the top (even on N aspects) and excellent from the choke down.
