Spent the day up at hanging lake and Gin. In the morning (8:30am) snow was heavy and coverage was sparse until about 1200m. On the descent (3pm) anything below 1400m was wet and heavy. On the west slopes ascending from rainbow lake, observed between 5-10 cms storm snow. Minimal wind affect. Summited Gin. Heard 1 small whumpf coming up the South side, unclear where it came from. Skied a line on the north side down towards Rainbow lake. Jumped on some convexities and nothing moved - otherwise observed no signs of instability on the descent. Snow was fluffy and made for great skiing. Weather was a mix of overcast, some sun, very minor precip in the AM, and generally warm.
