Pano slackcountry

Significant wind event over the past 3 days - at times hard to tell from which direction as it changed but mostly westerlies. Windward slopes were almost completely stripped while lee slopes had a fine layer of shale in spots. Skiing in any wind affected area was a mix of ski tip catching sastrugi and bulletproof snow. The wind effect reached well below tree line. Sheltered areas offered good skiing however also still evidence of widespread surface hoar in any area not affected by the wind.
