Avalanche

Natural R1/D1 SS observed on an East aspect at 12,700'. Likely occurred during the storm yesterday afternoon and slid on the old snow/new snow interface. Crown was 18" in depth, 20 meters wide and ran 400'. Avalanche initiated underneath the ridge at a cornice which was unsupported.
