Weather

windy...plumes. wind from sw. n-e-se was loading, albeit small slabs.

Snowpack

11000'. 45* aspect. hs 85cm. cth brk down 40cm on small fc. ectx. with "abnormal" force, extended column did not propagate, but failed on same layer down 40cm. multiple 1f to 4f to f layers of various facets and faceting rounds (ie old slab). minor cracking in very small new soft slab ntl. obvious new soft slabs forming ntl and >tl by ridges, though likely thin. btl is a big stack of facets approaching trap door status. the log/rock layer is developing nicely.

Avalanche

small, loose sluffs. some from cornice kicking, some from skiing, some natural. all >40* slopes. one natural ran quite some distance behind daly (1500' sluff..?)
