Cool morning, intense sunshine at time of avalanche. The avalanche occurred on the northern aspect of the North Star Mountain Ridge, skier triggered at approximately ~13-13.2k

Snowpack

Recent storm snow over old consolodated snow. Observed from Fletcher mountain SE ridge, so cannot comment on the exact conditions on North Star.

Avalanche

Width at release point ~15-20, unknown depth. Avalanche propigated nearly down to blue lakes reservoir ~11,800 feet. Avalanche swept over the skin track laid by the other parties that went on to Drift Peak east couloir.
